Mr Kamp is no longer practicing law, he passed away a few or more years ago is what I was told.
The guy they gave me to finish my case was not really that great in my opinion, but for what I could afford is based on what he did. The money I paid Kamp I did not get back and I had to pay the next person who took over.

I've had two cases with Gregg S. Kamp, PA. An injunction case where Mr. Kamp was able to secure a two year injunction against my now ex-husband when the rest of the petitioners only received one year injunctions. Then two months later he had my divorce finalized. He also arranged for someone to escort me to the courthouse to ensure I was safe due to the injunction and prior violence. I know not every case can be pushed through that quickly, I do know that if he says he will get something done, it will happen.

Don't hire Mr. Kamp for any of your custody needs. He forgot to file my paperwork, wouldn't return my phone calls, didn't file the motion to default, and didn't know anything about my case when we were asked questions in front of the judge. He also forgot to get my ex served. I shouldn't have to pay you $5000 to brief you on my case and do the work myself. Be careful. I was a single mother about to lose her house and he still took advantage. I refused to pay my last payment for his negligence. I could have had sole custody of my son with that one and only court hearing but Kamp fudged it up. Thanks for nothing Gregg Kamp.

I have had the pleasure of Gregg S. Kamp representing me, my sons and my Wife on more than one occasion. I first met Mr. Kamp in the early part of 2003 when my Wife was involved in an accident with the Polk County Sheriff's Department. They were called to our home to assist in our oldest son, when he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. During the time there were several deputies at our home and one of the deputies received a call for another emergency and jumped in his vehicle, started to back down our drive way and in the process, backed into my Wife who was standing behind this deputy's vehicle. She was hit by the vehicle and although, it truly was an accident, she had just had knee surgery and the impact of his vehicle bumping her from behind, almost knocked her to the ground, causing her a great deal of pain. The deputy realized what had happened and became very upset after realizing what he had done and tried to assist in caring for my Wife. To make a long story short, my Wife received several bruises to her legs, and pain throughout her legs and back. Mr. Kamp represented us against the Sheriff's Department in a timely matter, my Wife received the medical attention she required and Mr. Kamp was able to get us compensation for her injuries. We have been involved with other attorneys in the past and chose, after speaking to Mr. Kamp and his staff, to go with Gregg Kamp. We have used him since for anything that requires the necessity of an attorney and to this date, have never been disappointed. I would surely recommend Mr. Kamp and his capable staff to anyone in the need for a competent attorney. He was very friendly, professional and got on our case in a timely fashion. We were all pleased with the outcome and the outcome of several other cases he has handled. If you need an attorney with experience and the know how, I strongly urge you to give Gregg Kamp a call. Don't believe you will regret it. As a matter of fact, I know you won't. He was a lifesaver to us when we needed him the most. Why call the rest, when you can call the best?

In June 2017 Gregg came to our rescue when our son got into some very serious trouble. I could reach Gregg ANYTIME, unless he was in court, then he would return any call or text.
He would explain the process to us as we went along.
He had my son's felony cut down to a misdemeanor with probation only!!!!!
We are very happy with Gregg and his staff!!!

If I could rate less than 1 start I would. He is the worst and most unprofessional attorney ever! If you want to wait in a room for an extremely long time; hear him in the other room laughing and yelling at his employees while he's opening his mail all while your waiting for him to return to the room your in. Then, you hear his employee yell out loud in disgust because he farted right next to her. Yes! This really did happen! Then ,this is the right attorney for you!!! I felt like he was working for the other side. Also, they all tell you that the legal assistant legally can't give you advice. But she does anyways! I got threatened by a judge that they could take my son away from me from bad legal advice from them. Then, you tell them what the legal assistant told you, then call you a liar. I never got to talk to Gregg after the initial consultation except one time at a request of a meeting. I came out with more questions than answers. I barely got to talk to a paralegal, just a legal assistant. Furthermore, if you leave a message asking Gregg for legal advice, you get told what statutes to look up. He never helped me one bit!!! Don't get suckered in! Also, he has a complaint with the Bar. (Probably more than 1 by now) I should of posted this back in 2016 after I fired him.

One star is too much to rate this attorney. I'm writing this review on behalf of my boyfriend, who authorized me. If you don't want to get ripped off, DO NOT hire Mr. Gregg S. Kamp, he is a bad joke. One word to describe him: Irresponsable. The funny thing is, Mr. Kamp was in school with my boyfriend and that's the reason, he hired him, my bf trusted him. After 14 months, Mr. Gregg S. Kamp only give us excuses like, he is sick, his dog is sick, he has no personnel at the office, etc. We are going to report Mr. Kamp with the Lakeland BAR because he isn't fair, has no word, professional ethics and we don't want others to experience the nightmare of hire him. My bf paid him arround $4000 to $5000 for nothing than excuses and no returned calls. I believe Mr. Kamp has no pasion for his career, no word and no shame. Now we are asking Mr. Kamp to return all papers, so we can hire a decent and responsable attorney to help us solve our problem. DO NOT hire him. So many bad reviews from different people are not fake, are a fact. And one last thing Mr. Kamp because you will probably read this, scamming people will not create anything than karma for you. You should, at least give us our money back. Shame, shame of you. You know my bf mailing address, write that check with the amount my bf paid you, we will be waiting for our money back, have some decency. Update: So we are trying to hire a new lawyer, but to be able to do so, Mr. Kamp needs to write a letter of resignation to the court, ohhhh, and we just find out we have a hearing for the case on February 25, of course someone else let us know, not Mr. Kamp... Unbelievable!!! Update: We decided to go ahead and sue this individual for malpractice, for wasting our time and money, so he will never again play with other peoples life.

If I could give no stars I would. I paid a $5,000 retainer fee and then he barely returned my phone calls. He missed two court dates so I had to go in front of the judge alone and he didn’t even bother to call. I REALLY wish I was smart and reviewed the reviews before hiring him but I was in a tight spot and didn’t research much beforehand. FYI, through all of this I found out he had quite a history himself. Look up his public records and that might be enough to deter you from hiring him. You will find everything from evictions to DUIs.
